Old Mission Santa Barbara

Old Mission Santa Barbara is a historic jewel of California, founded by Spanish Franciscans in 1786. Nicknamed the 'Queen of the Missions,' this majestic mission is resplendent with ancient Roman-inspired architecture and beautiful gardens.

It is the only mission in California to have an original altar and a burial crypt. The interior is decorated with colorful paintings by Mexican artists from the 18th and 19th centuries and statues depicting Faith, Love and Saint Barbara.

The terrace offers breathtaking views of the San Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
