Description
Holy Trinity Polish Catholic Church is a magnificent example of Polish cathedral style in Chicago. The impressive 38 by 61 meter temple impresses with its rich decorations and vaulted ceilings without supporting columns.
The interior is decorated with murals depicting religious scenes and stained glass windows with symbols close to Polish immigrants - the Black Madonna and Our Lady of the Dawn Gate. The unique catacombs, inspired by the underground meeting places of the early Christians, are a unique attraction available to visitors on Sundays after mass.
