Wanskuck Park

Wanskuck Park is a 25-acre green space in Providence's historic Wanskuck neighborhood. The park delights with scenic paths among the trees, stone walls and expansive lawns perfect for a picnic.

History buffs will appreciate that it was once the estate of Helen Rowe Metcalf, founder of the Rhode Island School of Design.

For the active, there is a tennis court, two handball courts and 20 walking paths. It's the perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in nature.
