Description
Cass Park is one of Detroit's oldest parks, established in 1860. This historic green corner offers a beautifully landscaped space with multi-colored playgrounds, benches and ornamental trees.
On the north side of the park is an impressive 1921 sculpture by Robert Burns, facing the monumental Detroit Masonic Temple.
It is an ideal place for relaxing, picnics and walking the dog. The park regularly hosts various cultural events, including the Marche du Main Rouge parade, which ends at the nearby Masonic Temple.
