The Old Miami

The Old Miami is a unique bar with a rich military history, whose name is an acronym for 'Missing In Action Michigan'. Founded in 1980 by a Vietnam War veteran, it pays tribute to those who served in the military, highlighted by the military memorabilia adorning the interior.

The venue is famous for its lively music scene, earning it the nickname 'CBGB's Midwest.' Artists of such stature as Iggy Pop, The White Stripes and Eminem have performed here.

An expansive garden with a pond and fire pit provides the perfect backdrop for daytime parties during the warmer months. It's a place where the local community, artists and musicians come together over whiskey and a game of billiards.
