Description
McKinney Roughs Nature Park is an 1100-acre nature preserve located along the Colorado River, where four different ecosystems meet. It's a true paradise for nature and adventure lovers!
More than 18 miles of trails await hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riding enthusiasts. You can explore scenic canyons, meadows full of wildflowers and lazy meanders of the river.
The park also offers the longest double tyrolean in Texas, canoeing, UTV field trips and an obstacle course perfect for team building. The Mark Rose Nature Science Center provides educational programs on water conservation and land stewardship.
