Description

The Kodachrome Basin State Park is a geological wonder of nature that impresses with the unique sandstone formations and spectacular colors from which it takes its name. The distinctive 'sand tubes' and impressive spires, such as Ballerina Spire and Mammoth Spire, create a surreal landscape.

A network of hiking trails of varying difficulty levels allows visitors to discover the most beautiful corners of the park, including the only natural rock arch and the mysterious Indian Cave with handprints carved into the sandstone. Biking and horseback riding trails are also available for outdoor enthusiasts.
