Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge

Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge is a wildlife oasis encompassing more than 5,000 acres of wetlands and lush green grasslands.

It's a bird lover's paradise - hundreds of species, including migratory waterfowl and songbirds, stop here during migration. The reserve offers scenic hiking and biking trails, 15 free camping spots on the shores of Upper Pahranagat Lake, and special wildlife photography sites.

You can also fish and hunt in designated areas. A unique event is a nighttime scorpion search with ultraviolet lights.
