Description
Richard T. Mamiya Science Adventure Center is a fascinating place in the Bishop Museum complex where science becomes adventure. Interactive exhibits on Hawaii's environment, volcanology and oceanography await on 16,500 square feet.
Children can explore a giant model of a volcano, walk through a tunnel of Hawaiian beginnings with glowing artwork and listen to Hawaiian songs of creation. A special attraction is the opportunity to observe animals and insects in a koa tree model and demonstrations of volcanic rock melting.
The center combines science with culture, offering education through fun in a unique way.
