Honolulu Museum of Art (HoMA)

Honolulu Museum of Art (HoMA) is the largest art museum in Hawaii, founded in 1922. The facility impresses with a collection of more than 50,000 works spanning 5,000 years of art history, from fascinating Asian exhibits to European masterpieces.

The historic building, designed by Bertram Goodhue, is a work of art in its own right and was named Hawaii's Best Building by the Hawaii Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

Children will love the interactive gallery, and adults will appreciate the opportunity to relax in the atmospheric café. The museum also offers art workshops and regular film screenings at the Doris Duke Theater.
