Description
Baltimore Museum of Industry is a fascinating place where industrial history comes alive before your eyes. Housed in a historic former cannery complex, it offers a unique educational experience.
Visitors can explore reconstructions of manufacturing plants from the early 20th century, including a tailor shop, machine shop and printing plant. A special attraction is the 1906 steamship 'Baltimore' - the oldest surviving steam tug and a National Historic Landmark.
Children will love the interactive exhibits, where they can take on the role of cannery workers and learn about the lives of workers from more than a century ago.
