Independence National Historical Park

Independence National Historical Park is the historic heart of Philadelphia, where American independence was born. It was here that the Declaration of Independence was signed and the U.S. Constitution was adopted.

The heart of the park is Independence Hall - the birthplace of American statehood and the famous Liberty Bell - a symbol of the struggle for independence. Walking through the park's alleys, you can also visit Congress Hall, Carpenters' Hall or Franklin Court.
