First Night Monterey

First Night Monterey is a unique art event that transforms historic downtown Monterey into a vibrant celebration of art and music. Includes summer art camps for children, where professional artists teach classes in drawing, watercolor and sculpture.

A special Kids' Night Out event offers face painting, Christmas hat making and a twilight parade. The whole event takes place in a family, alcohol-free atmosphere, with more than 20 diverse groups performing at various venues.
