Description
Reptile House is a historic pavilion at London Zoo, designed in 1926 by Dr. Joan Beauchamp Procter - the first female Curator of Reptiles and Amphibians.
This place delights with a variety of fascinating reptiles and amphibians from around the world - from royal cobras and Jamaican boas to Philippine crocodiles and Chinese giant salamanders.
The pavilion is famous for its innovative solutions, such as special 'vita glass' lighting that provides the animals with essential ultraviolet light. For Harry Potter fans, it's an extra treat - the famous snake conversation scene was filmed here!
