The campground offers excellent conditions for both those traveling with tents and campers. An excellent base for exploring the delights of the British countryside and surrounding tourist attractions.

Mark Coxa week agoHad an awesome weekend with a big group (9 adults and 7 kids). Arrived Thursday to a very quiet site and some awesome pizzas from the Old Airfield bar. The coffee bar is awesome and the cakes great early in the morning. The weekend the site got busy but there was tons of room for the kids to play ball games safely. The only downside is the is the number of showers and toilets but overall no drama. If you love back to basics camping with great folks and coffee and pizza located in the heart of the forest this is the place!
Emily Drake-Knighta week agoLovely location, but don't believe the Instagram pics. It's just a field with portaloos and rented festival showers (these were great to be fair) the pizza van uses premade bases but will still cost you the same as an artisan homemade one, and the coffee van is only available for a couple of hours in the morning. Absolutely rammed on Saturday and then totally empty for the rest of our stay but by this time the compost loos were full. Not terrible but just be aware this is not as 'cool' it's it's made out to be. Also we were told on arrival that we could not cook on BBQs or fire pits at all (totally understandable because of wildfires but they could have told us in advance and we wouldn't have bought so much meat!)
Chandral X2 months agoFirst the positives.Good for families or groups.Large safe areas for children to play. You can buy coffee and pizza, coffee was good. Portaloo toilets clean (although it was very quiet when we were there)Negatives. Strange vibe to the place, unwelcoming staff and some comments from manager I found unprofessional. Ordered pizza and arrived at allotted time to pick it up, could hear irritated murmurings from the pizza van 'it's no where near ready' I was asked by the preparer of pizza 'do you want it now?'so I advised this was the time I'd been told to get it and just got another irritated 'do you want it now?' Which I found rude and unprofessional, the pizza base was OK, but the rest consisted of a scrape of tomato puree,some tasteless melted cheese, and literally 3 olives and half a teaspoon of crumbled feta,no exaggeration.£13 for that. There are not enough toilets or showers, 9 showers is no where near enough for such a huge site. Won't be using any of their sites again, I like to feel welcome not like they are doing me a favour.Nearby
