Description
Duncansby Head Trigpoint is the northeasternmost point of the UK mainland, offering breathtaking views of the Pentland Firth and the Orkney Islands.
The site is famous for its dramatic cliffs and distinctive rock formations called Duncansby Stacks, which rise out of the North Sea. A century-old lighthouse, built by the Stevenson family in 1924, adds to the site's historic charm.
It's a paradise for nature lovers, photographers and birdwatchers - you can spot mascons, gulls and other species of seabirds. Hiking trails allow you to discover unique geological formations, including the natural sea arch of Thirle Door.
