Description
Camley Street Natural Park'London Wildlife Trust is a unique oasis of nature in the heart of London. This fascinating park was created on the site of a former coal depot for the nearby King's Cross railroad station, which was demolished in the 1960s and then naturally colonized by nature.
The park offers a variety of ecosystems, from woodlands and meadows to wetlands and floating reed beds along Regent's Canal. It is a paradise for birds, butterflies, amphibians and many plant species.
The place is ideal for relaxation, nature observation and educational excursions. You can relax on benches overlooking the canal and watch the boats go by.
