The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre

The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre is a magical place dedicated to the life and work of the famous writer who lived and worked in Great Missenden for 36 years.

The museum consists of three interactive galleries that inspire a love of storytelling and creative writing. The biggest attraction is Roald Dahl's original Writing House and a replica of his writing chair.

Every child over the age of 5 receives a Story Idea Book, similar to the author's own notebook. At the Story Center you can create stop-motion animations, invent characters and new words in 'gobblefunk' style.
