Gasholder Park

Gasholder Park is a unique place in the heart of London, where industrial history meets modern design. The park was created on the site of former gas tanks, whose distinctive steel structures have been beautifully restored and arranged as a public space.

The most fascinating feature of the park is the circular steel roof inside Gasometer No. 8, which simulates a solar eclipse every 20 minutes thanks to sequential dimming LED lights. The central lawn is surrounded by a paved walking path and numerous trees and flower beds.
