Description
National Trust - Cotehele is a medieval mansion with Tudor-era additions that has remained virtually unchanged for five centuries. This granite and slate monument offers a remarkable journey back in time to the 15th century, when it was built by the Edgecumbe family after the Battle of Bosworth.
The property delights with authentic outbuildings, including a stone dovecote, and extensive gardens. The grounds also include a marina on the Tamar River with a branch of the National Maritime Museum, which takes a look at the maritime history of the region.
It's the perfect place for history, architecture and nature lovers all in one.
