Description
National Trust - Berrington Hall is a neoclassical manor house from the 18th century, designed by Henry Holland. Despite the austere facade, the interiors are stunning with subtle decor, a collection of furniture by Elmar Digby and paintings by Thomas Luna.
The park surrounding the estate is a recent design by the famous Capability Brown, with the picturesque Berrington Pool Lake, an area of special scientific interest.
Here you can admire historical costumes from Charles Paget Wade's collection and learn about the life of servants in the mansion's basement. An ideal place for lovers of architecture, history and nature!
