King Arthur's Stone

King Arthur's Stone is a fascinating Neolithic monument located on the Gower Peninsula near Swansea. This mysterious megalith, dating to around 2,500 BC, is surrounded by legends related to King Arthur.

According to local legends, the stone bears the mark of King Arthur's elbow, who was said to have leaned against it. Another legend has it that the king threw the stone from his shoe straight up this hill.
