Craigmillar Castle Park

Craigmillar Castle Park is a historic site that impresses with its medieval architecture and rich history. The 14th century castle, surrounded by a picturesque park, is famous for its association with Mary, Queen of Scots, who stayed here in 1566.

It was here that the famous 'Craigmillar Bond' - a pact to assassinate the queen's husband - was signed.
