Description
UAE Pavilion is a unique art gallery on Al Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, designed by Sir Norman Foster. The building resembles two parallel sand dunes and offers 8,000 square meters of exhibition space.
The pavilion combines traditional Emirati craftsmanship with modern design. Particularly impressive is the forest-like structure, consisting of 90 wooden columns 16 meters high, using more than two million palm leaves.
The facades are decorated with recycled date seeds, highlighting a commitment to sustainability and innovation.
