Description
The Sosnowski Villa is a unique architectural monument of Lviv, combining the styles of Historicism, Neo-Gothic and Neo-Romanism. Designed by Polish architect Jozef Sosnowski, it resembles a medieval castle with a crenellated tower and bay window balconies inspired by Venetian palaces.
The building impresses with its rich decorations: mascarons, atlantes with caryatids and a stone lion at the entrance. Erected between 1900 and 1907, it served as both an architect's residence and a rental house.
It is located in the Kastelivka district, famous for its Art Nouveau architecture, making it an ideal spot when exploring the city's architectural treasures.
