Description
Sepetçiler Pavilion is a historic pavilion dating back to 1591, rebuilt in 1643 by Sultan Ibrahim and renovated in 1739.
Originally a sales venue for basket makers, this unique building combines architectural elements made of red marble, tiles from Iznik and iron elements from Samakoy and Thessaloniki.
It now houses a restaurant offering local delicacies in a unique setting with breathtaking views of the Golden Horn and the Bosphorus Strait. A great place for lovers of history and fine dining.
