Description
Colorful Buildings Cihangir is a charming district of Istanbul, named after Suleiman the Magnificent's son.
The distinctive pastel facades in shades of pink, yellow and pale green create a unique atmosphere in this bohemian corner. Since the 1970s it has attracted artists and intellectuals, resembling Paris' Le Marais or New York's Williamsburg.
Narrow, green streets hide art galleries, cozy cafes and boutiques. Strolling along the streets of Sadri Alisik, Faik Pasa or Bogazkesen, one can admire fascinating street art and enjoy the spectacular view of the Bosphorus.
