Description

Trinity College Library is one of the oldest libraries in Ireland, founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I. It is home to the famous Book of Kells - a priceless manuscript dating back to the 9th century, considered 'the most valuable object in the Western world.

The impressive 65-meter-long Long Hall, with its wooden vaulted ceiling and marble busts, will delight any lover of architecture and literature. The library holds more than 4.5 million books and the Brian Bor harp, Ireland's national symbol.

It is a place where history comes alive among ancient texts and artifacts of Ireland's cultural heritage.
