Description
Traeth Porthor is a unique beach known as 'Whistling Sands' because of the distinctive sound the sand makes when walking. It is one of only two places in Europe where you can experience this phenomenon.
The beach is surrounded by steep, grassy cliffs that offer breathtaking views of the Llŷn Peninsula and the Irish Sea. It's an ideal spot for families, nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts.
The area is famous for its diverse fauna - seals, porpoises, and birds such as bobcats and finches can be found here.
