Town Hall

Town Hall is a historic building in the heart of medieval Rothenburg ob der Tauber, combining Gothic and Renaissance architectural styles. Dating back to the 13th century, the town hall has undergone numerous renovations, including the restoration of its Renaissance façade after a fire in the 16th century.

The town hall tower, rising more than 60 meters, offers breathtaking views of the city and surrounding countryside. For a small fee, visitors can climb to the top, where a room with panoramic views and information about the history of the city walls awaits.

The ornate stonework, impressive staircase with paintings and richly decorated city council chambers will delight history and photography enthusiasts.
