West Fork Oak Creek Trailhead

West Fork Oak Creek Trailhead is one of Sedona's most popular trails, offering a scenic 8-mile route (round trip) through a shady canyon. The trail follows Oak Creek with about 13 water crossings, adding to the adventure.

The route is relatively flat and accessible to most hikers, making it ideal for families. Along the way you can admire historic ruins, red rock canyon walls and unique geological formations resembling subway tunnels.

It's a good idea to bring water shoes, as creek crossings are inevitable. Shaded paths make the trail enjoyable even on warmer days.
