Starting point for the Mount Veyrier hike

The starting point of the trail to Mount Veyrier is an ideal place for mountain hikers. The trail offers breathtaking views of Lake Annecy and the surrounding mountains, including the Aravis and Bauges ranges.

The trail features varied terrain - from paved paths, to forest tracks, to rocky sections. The hike requires good physical fitness due to the significant difference in altitude (about 1,000 meters).

Along the way, be sure to stop at the Col des Sauts, which offers panoramic views of the lake, and visit the former platform of the Mont Baron cable car, which provides a unique vantage point.
