Description
Stac Pollaidh is a unique mountain in the Assynt region of the northwest Highlands of Scotland.
This distinctive Torridonian sandstone formation offers an unforgettable experience for mountain hikers. A moderately difficult trail leads to the ridge, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, including the Summer Isles, Achiltibuie and the Isle of Skye.
Golden eagles and deer can be spotted here, and the unique jagged terrain created during the last ice age is a true climber's paradise.
