Ruta de los volcanes

Ruta de los volcanes is a spectacular trekking trail on the island of La Palma. The approximately 17.5-mile route passes through picturesque pine forests, volcanic peaks and offers breathtaking views of the coast and volcanic landscapes.

The trail includes famous volcanic cones, including the Hoyo Negro crater (last eruption in 1949) and the Teneguía volcano (eruption in 1971). The hike takes about 5-7 hours and requires good physical fitness.

A unique experience is the full moon hike, when the first stars illuminate the path before moonrise.
