Trulli, Rione Monti

Trulli, Rione Monti is Alberobello's most famous neighborhood, famous for its unique stone houses with conical roofs. Dating back to the 14th century, these distinctive buildings were listed by UNESCO in 1996.

Strolling through the narrow streets, one can admire more than 1,000 trulli, many of which now house stores selling local crafts and restaurants serving Apulian specialties.

From its vantage point, Belvedere Santa Lucia offers a spectacular view of a sea of conical rooftops - the perfect moment for memorable photos, especially during golden hour.
