Description

Torre di Belloluogo is a fascinating medieval tower dating back to the early 14th century, built in the Andegavian style. This unique structure served as both a residence and a strategic defensive structure, surrounded by a moat fed by water from local karst springs.

Inside is a private chapel decorated with frescoes from the late 14th century depicting the life of Mary Magdalene and other biblical scenes. The tower is associated with Maria d'Enghien, Countess of Lecce, who later became Queen of Naples.

The Belloluogo park surrounding the tower offers a peaceful space for relaxation and exploration, creating a unique combination of history and nature.
