Park Potworów

The Monster Park is an extraordinary place in Bomarzo, Italy, also known as the Sacro Bosco (Sacred Grove). It captivates visitors with monumental Mannerist sculptures dating back to the 16th century, depicting mythical creatures and fantastic characters.

Highlights include sculptures of Hercules fighting Cacus, Cerberus and the famous Orcus with his mouth wide open and the mysterious inscription 'Ogni pensiero vola' (All thoughts fly away).

Strolling through the park, you'll also encounter the Casa Pendente (Hanging House), which produces fascinating optical illusions thanks to its disturbed center of gravity.
