Col Alt - Hochalpenkopf

Col Alt - Hochalpenkopf is a picturesque peak in the Braies Dolomites, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including the highest peak in the Braies Dolomites - Croda Rossa (3146 m).

The trail to the summit begins at Lago di Braies (Pragser Wildsee) and leads through scenic valleys and alpine pastures. The 16.9-kilometer route takes about 6.5 hours and offers an elevation gain of 1202 meters.

The best time to hike is between June and October. It is advisable to bring sun protection and comfortable trekking shoes to fully enjoy this remarkable alpine experience.
