Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area

Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area is a fabulous natural area also known as Heavenly Lake, located in the Tianshan Mountains in China.

This crystal clear lake reflecting snow-capped peaks and blue skies is awe-inspiring at 1,910 meters above sea level. The site is shrouded in legend of the Queen Mother of the West, who is said to have used the lake as her summer palace.

In addition to the main lake, explore the smaller Feilong Lake with its impressive waterfalls and walk through the fascinating Stone Gate. For the active, boat cruises and a 15-kilometer trail around the lake are available.
