Description
The Divinity School is one of the oldest surviving university buildings in Oxford, built between 1427 and 1483. This stunning example of Perpendicular Gothic impresses with an intriguing vaulted ceiling with 455 decorative keystones designed by William Orchard.
Originally intended for lectures and theological disputes, the site gained additional fame as the setting for the Harry Potter films, where it served as the Hogwarts hospital wing. Any lover of architecture, history or the magical world will find something to enjoy here.
