The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge is a unique venue combining a museum, art gallery and library in a historic Tudor-era building.
Named after Dr. James George Beaney, who left the city of Canterbury a substantial sum of money to build the institute. After a major renovation between 2009 and 2012, it offers modern exhibition galleries showcasing Canterbury's decorative arts and paintings.
This cultural center of East Kent provides interactive events for all ages, bringing together art, heritage and information under one roof.
