The Balmoral

The Balmoral is a luxury 5-star hotel in the heart of Edinburgh, offering 167 rooms and 20 suites decorated in Scottish style.

Built in 1902 and originally known as the North British Hotel, it was renamed in 1991 by Sean Connery. The hotel's famous clock deliberately rushes by 3 minutes to help travelers catch their trains!
