Description

Tecnoparco Museo di Archimede is a fascinating outdoor museum in Syracuse dedicated to the inventions of the famous Greek mathematician and physicist.

It's a place where history meets science through interactive exhibits that allow you to experiment with replicas of Archimedes' inventions - levers, pulleys and hydraulic devices.

The biggest attraction are life-size reconstructions of ancient machines, including catapults and water pumps, designed to defend the city against Roman invasion. Modern VR technologies allow you to be transported to 240 BC and experience the defense of Syracuse.
