Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is a compact reserve in northern Tanzania, where an extraordinary variety of ecosystems are found within 325 km²—from evergreen forests to an alkaline lake.

The main attractions are the rare tree-climbing lions and over a million flamingos forming pink clouds above the water. The park protects one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania, and the Maji Moto hot springs reach a temperature of 60°C.

With over 400 species of birds and spectacular views of the Great Rift Valley wall, it is the perfect safari destination for families and photographers.
