Description

Saphan Hin Park is a historic site in Phuket whose name means 'Bridge of Stones.' The park was once the center of the tin mining industry, as recalled by the Mining Monument dedicated to Edward T. Miles.

It's an ideal place for lovers of physical activity - you'll find badminton, basketball and tennis courts, a swimming pool, a soccer field and a petanque course. For families, there are playgrounds and picnic areas.

The boardwalk among the mangroves offers a beautiful view of the Andaman Sea. The park is also a center for cultural events, such as the Loy Krathong festival, when the water lights up with hundreds of floating lanterns.
