Description

Phra Pathom Chedi is the largest stupa in Thailand, rising to an impressive height of 127 meters. This majestic bell-shaped structure represents the unique Dvaravati art style and is a first-class royal monastery.

Visitors can admire the four viharas (temples) and Ubosot (main chapel) decorated with bells and other decorative elements. The northern chapel houses a standing statue of Phra Ruang Rojanarit Buddha from the Sukhothai era.

The Phra Pathom Chedi National Museum, located under the northern vihara, displays historical relics, paintings and statues from the 6th to 11th centuries, documenting the rich history of the region.
