Kyrksjölöten

Kyrksjölöten is a charming nature reserve located in Stockholm, offering an extraordinary nature experience in the heart of the city.

This picturesque area surrounds Lake Kyrksjön with its crystal clear waters, surrounded by one of Stockholm's largest deciduous wetland forests.

The place is a paradise for bird and amphibian lovers - you can spot a white-tailed eagle, heron or little woodpecker, as well as toads, frogs and newts. Wooden bridges lead through the most marshy areas, making it easy to observe wildlife.

Additional attractions are traces of the Ice Age in the form of boulders and moraines, as well as an Iron Age cemetery.
