Äppledalen Kaxholmen

Äppledalen Kaxholmen is a picturesque corner of Sweden, known as the 'Tuscany of Smaland'. Over 30,000 fruit trees, mostly apple trees, grow on 12 hectares, creating a fairy-tale landscape overlooking Lake Vättern.

It's a place rich in history - the first farm, Strands Gård, dates back to 1896. Here you can sample local products, including cider, mousses and jellies made from local fruits.

The Vistakulle viewpoint offers panoramic views of the orchards and the surrounding area, and numerous bicycle routes allow you to discover the charm of this unique place.
