Sentiero al Lago di Braies

Sentiero al Lago di Braies is a scenic trail around one of the most beautiful lakes in the Dolomites. The two-mile trail offers breathtaking views of the lake's turquoise waters and majestic mountain peaks, including the Croda del Becco.

As you walk, you can admire the unique turquoise color of the water, which is due to glacial sediment. For more experienced hikers, the trail is the start of the famous Alta Via 1 route, leading through the Dolomites to Belluno.
