Ilabekken

Ilabekken is a charming hiking trail in Trondheim, connecting the city center to the Bymarka Nature Reserve. This easy 1.6-kilometer trail takes you through lush nature, scenic waterfalls and wooden staircases, offering the perfect break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

At the end of the trail awaits Theisendammen, a popular lake with a beach and swimming platform, perfect for a refreshing swim after the hike. A particularly photogenic spot is the Møllebakken area with its wooden staircase and small waterfall.
